Why choose us? we are a customer centric shop that puts service and quality as our priority. We have carefully curated the most popular products over the last 11 years at every budget level so that you can feel confident with your purchase. We know it can be overwhelming with all of the options out there, but our team has helped minimize the risk for you. Use our Designer tool to set the placement of your artwork - when production begins, our team will take several measurements to ensure that what you designed online is what you will receive in person. What services do you offer? we offer a wide range of screen printing and embroidery services. This includes custom t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and many other merch options. If you don't know where to start, please navigate to the Best Sellers page.

How can I place an order? You can place an order with 4 easy steps: 

Step 1: If you're new to custom merch and our website, then the easiest way to get started is by navigating to the Best Sellers or Products page. If you already know what you want to order, then go directly into our Designer page.

Step 2: Select your product and start designing!

Step 3: Once the design is uploaded to our Designer tool (or create your own design through our tool), you will then see a quote.

Step 4: If the quote looks good, you can then directly place the order. Please contact us if you need further assistance!

My organization is tax exempt. How can sales tax be removed from my order? Please provide state-issued documentation confirming your exemption from sales tax at the state level via email at order@customclothingny.com. We will approve it within 1-2 days and designate your account as tax exempt, which will remove sales tax from your orders.

 

What is your minimum order quantity? our minimum order quantity for most products are 6 pieces. However, we recommend aiming for at least 36-72 pieces to get a good price break.

What kind of decoration methods do you offer? we largely offer screen / DTF printed merch. Depending on the quantity and the number of colors in the design, we will select one of the print methods to ensure that you get the best bang for your buck. Our inks and DTF transfers are quality tested to ensure that your design will not fade or crack even after several washes. For custom print methods such as puff printing, metallic printing, etc., please submit a Request a Quote form.

Can you print / embroider on any type of fabric? we can print on a variety of fabrics including cotton, polyester, blends, and more. Embroidery generally requires a thicker type of fabric so for this reason we do not embroider on fabric less than 6 ounces (i.e. lightweight shirts). Once you select the product to design, the Designer tool will let you know if the product can be printed, embroidered, or both.

How should I prepare my artwork? it all starts with the artwork in order to get the best finished product. All art should be uploaded in CMYK format.

Solid color prints: please upload a vector file (AI, EPS, or PDF extension). PNG or JPEG could work, but rescaling a PNG or JPEG image could compromise the quality of the image.

Gradient or photorealistic prints: please upload the artwork created in 300 DPI (PNG or PSD file). Please note that an artwork changed to 300 DPI without recreating the artwork does not mean it will be a higher quality image. The file should be created in 300 DPI from the start. DPI means Dots-Per-Inch, the higher the dot count per inch, the higher the quality of the image.

Embroidery: please upload the artwork created in 300 DPI (PNG or PSD file).

How do I know how the product fits? the product fit can be seen on the Best Sellers and Products pages worn by the models. The designer tool may not always show the model when you're designing, therefore if you need to reference the fit, please search for the style code on those 2 pages. In addition, follow our Instagram @customclothing_ny to see photos of how our clients are wearing their merch!

Do you color match the ink with the design? we will aim to get the ink as close as possible to the design. Inks can look slightly different on the monitor versus in real life.

What are your payment terms? payment can be made at checkout before the order goes to production. If you need a PO, please reach out to us via the Request a Quote form.

Do you offer bulk discounts? prices are updated based on the quantity ordered. As the volume increases, the price per piece decreases.

Are there any hidden fees I should be aware of? No, we believe in transparent pricing. All costs will be shown on the checkout page before submitting payment.

Can changes be made to the order after it has been placed? please reach out to our team at order@customclothingny.com to see if changes can be made. We will help make the changes if it's not in production yet.

How long is the turnaround time? turnaround time is usually 2 weeks from placing the order to receiving the order. Free standard shipping is applied to each order. Rush options are available at checkout.

Can I mix and match different products in one order? yes, you can mix different types of products (e.g., t-shirts, hoodies, hats) in one order, provided they meet the minimum order requirements for each product type.

Do you ship internationally? unfortunately, we do not ship internationally at this time.

What is your return policy: please let us know within 15 days if your order looks very different from the online proof. We do not accept returns if the order was made according to the online proof. Please contact our team at order@customclothingny.com so that we can assist and find a resolution.

Can we come by to customize our own merch: unfortunately, we are not open to the public and do not decorate customer provided merch. Please reach out to us at order@customclothingny.com if you have questions regarding merch, process, etc. that hasn't been covered on our website. 

How do I care for my printed or embroidered garments? for screen-printed items, we recommend washing them inside out in cold water and tumble drying on low. For embroidered items, avoid bleaching. In general, avoid bleach, high heat, and directly ironing the decoration to ensure longevity.
